Don Stanley named one of Social Media Marketing Magazine’s top 100 marketing professors worldwide

LSC Faculty Associate Don Stanley has been named to the Social Media Marketing Magazine’s list of 100 “Top Marketing Professors on Twitter.” Stanley is new to the list this year and comes in at number 38. View the full list here.

donStanley teaches popular courses on website design and social media engagement that are perpetual favorites with LSC majors and non-majors alike. For example, in his “LSC 440: Contemporary Communication Technologies and their Social Effects” course, students learn how new media technologies such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and mobile applications affect society, the latest trends in their use, and how as communicators, they can leverage these tools professionally for social good. He received the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences 2012 Arthur J. Maurer Extra Mile Award. The award is given each year to an instructor in CALS who goes the extra mile in educating, mentoring and engaging students. Nominations are made by students themselves.
