LSC senior Signe Brewster was awarded a fellowship from the National Association of Science Writers(NASW) to cover the 2012 AAAS meeting, which took place from February 16 to 20th in Vancouver, Canada.
She authored an article, “Talking dictionaries give endangered languages a global audience,” on the use of online talking dictionaries to preserve and promote endangered languages. You can read her piece on the National Association of Science Writers website here.
