Abigail Brown is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Life Sciences Communication, working with the Todd Newman Research Laboratory. She earned a Ph.D. in Human Behavior and Design and a B.S. in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University. Brown studies how people, particularly children and youth, understand and respond to information about climate change. Understanding how responses to climate change influence agency, decision-making, and collective action can enhance the design of communication, education, and the physical environment that empowers communities to engage in climate solutions.
