Xuan says, “Monument Valley (Arizona & Utah), one of the most majestic – and most photographed – points on earth, is the place where Forrest Gump ended his cross-country run in the movie. Because of this, the area seemed familiar, even though it was my first visit. Just after a thunderstorm, the sun broke through the clouds and created dramatic lighting and stunning colors on these sandstone masterpieces that tower at heights of 400 to 1,000 feet”.Life Sciences Communication Disserator Xuan Liang
