Tom Still, president of the Wisconsin Technology Council and a senior lecturer in the Department of Life Sciences Communication, will moderate portions of a Sept. 5 University of Wisconsin Regents conference on “Finding Common Ground: Governance, Funding and Partnerships for Wisconsin’s Public University System.” Still was invited by the Regents to help lead the discussion, which will involve key Regents, UW System chancellors and administrators (including UW-Madison Chancellor Becky Blank), and leading state legislators. The event is scheduled to take place at the Gordon Dining and Event Center on campus. Guest speakers will include Charles B. Reed, former chancellor of the California State University System, and P.J. Hogan, vice chancellor for government relations in the University of Maryland System.
