Emily Howell is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Life Sciences Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her work focuses on how to communicate controversial and policy-relevant science and technology issues, such as fracking, human genome editing, and artificial intelligence. In particular, she is interested in how to increase communication and engagement across stakeholders with diverse experiences and opinions on important issues in science and society.
