LSC prides itself on a community culture that celebrates diversity. In addition, our faculty includes international members from such countries as Colombia, China, England and Germany. As a department, we further fulfill The Wisconsin Idea through our relationships with UW-Extension, Wisconsin Public Radio and Wisconsin Public Television.
Our alumni testify to the importance of the combination of practical and theoretical knowledge that we impart. Our faculty scholars fuel growth in communication theory; and our instructional staff complement faculty strengths by bringing practical insight and professional networks into our classrooms. Our instructional staff pursues high-profile professional careers in addition to sharing their skills with our students.
