LSC AND THE LSC ADVANCEMENT FUND

The Department of Life Sciences Communication serves people in Wisconsin and the larger global community by promoting effective communication regarding agriculture, the life sciences, and natural resources. In so doing, LSC embraces three core functions: undergraduate instruction, research and graduate student education, and outreach and extension.

The LSC Advancement Fund helps the department fulfill its mission by addressing the highest priorities of the department that are not funded through traditional sources. These priorities are:

gift| Graduate student support for travel to conferences in order to present original research; maintenance of graduate student offices so that they have necessary access to equipment.

| Communication with alumni and friends

| Program support for issues pertaining to food, energy, health and the environment.¨

If you are interested in contributing a gift, please visit the UW Foundation Web site contact Jodi Wickham, UW Foundation Director of Development of CALS.
